BENJOY shares the joy of toys through projects that promote play and the use of toys and other soft products, such as pillows, for the benefit of people in need. One of its key projects is Pillows for a Cause wherein Soft Hug pillows and toys are distributed for a worthy cause in the communities where we operate.

Pillows for a Cause
In 2020, at the height of the COVID19 pandemic, a strong typhoon hit Manila in the Philippines, displacing hundred of families whose houses were submerged in floods, destroying their houses and their livelihood.
Despite the lockdowns, BENJOY assisted affected communities by offering work to affected families to make pillows and blankets that were donated to those who lost their homes and their belongings due to the floods.

The pillows and blankets were offered as a means of giving them some comfort during the time of crisis.

Pillows for a Cause 2022
September of each year is recognized as Blood Cancer Awareness Month. Blood Cancer or Leukemia is the most common cancer affecting children. September is also Child Cancer Awareness Month.
The second Pillows for a Cause aims to help children with cancer undergoing treatment in public hospitals in Manila by providing them with toy pillows and bolsters that they can provide them comfort while undergoing their treatment.
